General Manager
A chemical engineer with an industrial production background, Mathieu has over 15 years in plastic/rubber recycling and the environmental field of soil contamination. In 2013, he took over our Canadian operations, developing our team philosophy and streamlining processes for refrigeration recycling and halocarbon disposal. He is also active in business development and government relations.

Pier-Luc Goulet, M. Sc, CPA, CGA
Controller
Pier-Luc is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a Master’s in Finance, and has been an accounting and finance professional for over 13 years. After working as a financial analyst for a private venture capital and consulting firm, he brought a wealth of experience in financial statements, budgets, and corporate finance. At PureSphera, he is responsible for accounting, contracts, and financial operations.

Vincent Marcotte
Director of Environmental and Gas Management
Vincent, a graduate in chemical engineering, oversees optimal hydrocarbon management, which involves managing carbon market operations, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. Vincent plays an active role in R&D projects and efficient production techniques and processes for sustainable development. His mathematical skills, resourcefulness, composure, leadership, and kindness have made him indispensable to our team. Vincent is dedicated to environmental causes and is actively involved in politics and fair trade.

Samuel Duval
Production, Maintenance, and Engineering Manager
Recognized for stellar production performance, Samuel is a 2018 Mechanical Engineering graduate from Université de Sherbrooke, as well as a 2014 Nature Science graduate. The environment is always front and centre for this inspiring colleague. In 2019, Samuel and his fellow students embarked on a large-scale project to develop Hoola One Technology for rehabilitating ecosystems damaged by plastic pollution.

Nicolas Poiré
Maintenance, Refrigerant Gases, and Resale Workshop Manager
After graduating with a professional degree in refrigeration, Nicolas has been with PureSphera since 2016. Nicolas is in a class of his own when it comes to production, maintenance, and gas management. He also established a new resale workshop for household refrigeration appliances and parts. Before that, Nicolas worked in technical services and wastewater treatment for ten years.

Project Manager, responsible for plastic recovery
Mechanical engineer, Kaèle is fully in control of all the projects she leads. She has climbed the ranks in major companies such as Stantec, National Research Council Canada, Fournier Industries, Vap Group, and Olin. Employed at PureSphera since the summer of 2020, she is in charge of projects for continuous improvement, productivity, and machine safety.

Olivié became a valuable member of our team in 2017, following the completion of his mechanical engineering training at the University of Sherbrooke. His ingenuity in problem-solving and his ability to mobilize the production team set him apart. With a background enriched by travels and multicultural origins, Olivié brings a unique open-minded perspective to the table. Known for his exceptional curiosity, resourcefulness, and dedication, Olivié excels in implementing and elucidating complex processes. He spearheads research and development projects, ensuring that PureSphera maintains its position as a leader in greenhouse gas reduction. Outside of his professional life, Olivié is a devoted father to two young children and an avid enthusiast of cycling and climbing.

With a bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, Alexandra has always been passionate about the environment, deeply moved by its immense beauty and the invaluable services it provides us. Committed to making a positive impact on our planet, she has spearheaded waste collection campaigns and raised awareness among both citizens and students on a range of environmental issues. She also has demonstrated a keen interest in people by serving as a care assistant in a CHSLD. Through this experience, she has gained a profound appreciation for the significance of others' well-being. This realization has led her to pursue a career as a health and safety manager in an environmental company, a role that perfectly aligns with her dual commitment to environmental sustainability and human health.

A Marine Mechanic in the Canadian Armed Forces, Pierre hold degrees in refrigeration, hydraulics, and mechanics. Following his training at the Technical University of Nova Scotia, he transitioned into the role of an integrated control system technician and later expanded his expertise into computer networking. Driven by a passion for environmental protection, he decided to channel his skills towards making a positive impact at PureSphera. Pierre is a team player with unwavering motivation. A project he is proud of is having tripled the production of a kitchen cabinet manufacturing line by automating it. Pierre enjoys building and flying remote-controlled planes. Additionally, he finds joy in embarking on motorcycle journeys with his significant other.
